Located at the break of the Zaarour mountain hills, the project (15,000m2) responds to an ambitious program for building a group of 75 chalets to enjoy the snow in winter, the sun during summer, or just hang out in a beautiful environment with outstanding weather all year round.
Our Solution
The design proposed for the Z 5596 compound is composed of 28 units of 60m2, 34 units of 70m2, and 11 units of 90m2 each. It is located on a steep slope facing the sea and occupies two adjacent lots with the opportunity of extending the project on a third one at a later stage. It features a smart solution to accommodate the tricky mix of the chalets that have different requirements and areas. The outcome results in a smart mix of simplexes and duplexes stacked on top of each other, subtly spread over the plots, while offering outstanding sea and mountain views… The proposed scheme is profoundly inspired from the natural environment in which it is located, and reciprocates it surprisingly. Pedestrians access the project through the main road. Residents have their own parking spot, along with a cellar dedicated for each unit in B1 level that is accessible from the lowest part of the plot.
The design reciprocates the natural environment in which it is located and that inspired it.
